Podfuck - 2019

Each year this wine was made, the maceration got shorter and shorter and a tiny bit of Pinot Noir was added every time, until one day the wine switched sides and became a real red. In Nestarec's opinion, this is the ideal expression, one that does justice to this early-ripening, forest-protected vineyard.

Hence the tagline: "Walk up to your own horizon" comes from an interview with the renowned artist Olafur Eliasson, reminding us that we don't need to be like anybody else or conform to others' norms. In wine as in life, we set our own KPIs...

A true elegant red with good minerality, notes of violets, blackberry, red currant and ginger. It does have the Pinot Noir style to it.
