Xinomavro Rose Markovitis - 2022

The young Markos Markovitis, returned from his oenological studies at LVWO Winsberg in Germany and continued as the 3rd generation who took over the historic winery of Naoussa. The specialty of the winery is a 140-acre single vineyard, planted in 1972 by his grandfather, which has a very special ecosystem in itself. The production is very specific and produces each year grapes with strength and maturity. Xinomavro Rose 2022, is a new approach and the harvest was done manually. The wine was fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks, while malolactic fermentation was also applied. This combination created a wine full of fruitiness, freshness while maintaining the profile of the variety with its typicity of tomato character! Love it now but will definitely evolve tremendously in 2-3 years!
