The Grand Cru vineyard of Pfersigberg is one of the jewels of the Kuentz Bas and produces sensational Rieslings with depth, intensity, power and truly great ageing potential. The rather steep slopes, the poor limestone soils and the biodynamic cultivation of the vineyard seem to reward the extra effort with impressive elements in the wine. The Rieslings from the "guts" of Pfersigberg are impressive in minerality, richness, and length and resist the passage of time, maintaining their freshness for years. A truly unique terroir which, as it evolves in the bottle, will increasingly leave its distinct, full of minerality, imprint on the wine.
