Barbera d'Alba - 2022

If Barolo and Barbaresco are the king and queen of the Piemonte region respectively, then Barbera is a noble of the royal court. A grape that "shines" with its energy and characteristically high acidity. Barbera d'Alba by Vajra excites with its direct, unpretentious, expressive character. It has similar vivacity and fruit that you find in red Burgundy wines but with more power, although a little more rustic in character. It is a wine with intensity, energy and aromatic and flavor depth. It comes from a number of different privately owned vineyards of the estate. Aged for 14 months in stainless steel tanks to fully and accurately express its rich aromatic potential.
