Santameriana orange - 2020

Our favourite rockstar from Peloponnese knocks it out of the park with this skin-contact wine. In the historic village of Santameri, Achaia, Panagiotis Dimitropoulos from the upcoming Sant'Or winery cultivates the Santameriana variety, also known as Asprouda from Patras. The low yields, biodynamic approach and harmony with nature synthesize a wine of individuality and strong personality. The juice stays for 20 days in an amphora in contact with the skins which give attractive copper-orange shades.
Aromas of bergamot, orange and white pepper and scents of honey and fresh grapes create a perfectly balanced, quaffable yet complex orange wine with well-integrated tannins, soft acidity and fruity aftertaste.
An excellent natural wine (also vegan-certified) for the adventurous consumers.
