Drinking like a crisp morning breeze after an unseasonably warm evening. From the beautiful land of Nemea and from the privately owned organic vineyards of Milia Riza winery, comes this Blanc de Noir Agiorgitiko.
After first fermentation, followed 6 months of cellar ageing inside the stainless steel tanks with periodic "bâtonnage", the base wine was then bottled for the second fermentation. The wine stayed 21 months in contact with its lees and was disgorged in December 2022. What a process, WHAT a bubble! A perfectly dry white, blanc de noir, sparkling wine with excellent texture, cool acidity and a persistent toasted finish. Match with fried anything.
Warning: VERY EXPLOSIVE - it's part of the fun! Open very chilled, slowly over a large bowl to prevent losing an ounce of this playful beauty.
