After returning from France in 2016, Chloe brought with her not only a passion for natural winemaking but also deep knowledge of biodynamic practices. Encouraged by her father, Vangelis Chatzivaritis, founder of the family winery, she launched a bold new chapter: raw, honest wines made with minimal intervention.
Vre is her take on Malagouzia — fermented with native yeasts, aged in stainless steel, bottled unfiltered and untouched. Nothing added, nothing taken away. Just pure, unadulterated Malagouzia. Hence the name: this is the “true” expression of the grape.
Pale lemony-gold and lightly cloudy in the glass, Vre offers a rich aromatic dance — think caramelized pineapple, peach, pear, lychee, yogurt, bergamot, papaya, citrus blossom, and lemon leaf.
