Goyo García Viadero

Finca Viñas de Arcilla - 2019

€45,00

Meet Finca Viñas de Arcilla, a red wine that proves old vines still know how to party — they just do it with better stories and impeccable taste. Crafted by the ever-independent Goyo García Viadero in Castilla y León under the Ribera del Duero DO, this is Tempranillo with soul, patience, and a little rebellious charm.

Fermentation happens naturally with native yeasts, followed by an unusually long three-month maceration that extracts character rather than brute force. The wine then rests peacefully in used French oak barrels — no flashy makeup, just gentle refinement — before spending another 1–2 years aging in bottle until it’s ready to show off.

The result? A Ribera del Duero that swaps power for elegance: juicy dark fruit, subtle spice, earthy whispers, and a texture that feels like velvet wearing hiking boots.

Why we love it:
Old vines, low ego, high personality. Serious wine that doesn’t take itself too seriously — just how we like it at Volta.

Perfect with slow dinners, curious friends, and conversations that accidentally last all night.
