Finca Los Guijarrales 2020 is Goyo García Viadero doing what he does best: letting old vineyards speak for themselves — no makeup, no shortcuts, just pure character in a bottle.
This natural, organic red comes from 40-year-old vines grown sustainably in La Aguilera (Burgos), sitting high at 880 metres above sea level on striking red sandy soils scattered with rounded stones. Fermented with native yeasts, bottled unfiltered and made without added sulphites, it’s wine in its most honest form.
After fermentation, the wine spends 12 months resting in fine-grain French oak barrels, gaining depth without losing its vibrant energy. Juicy aromas of blackberries, cherries and raspberries mingle with graphite minerality, gentle spice and a balsamic lift. Fresh and elegant on the palate, with fine tannins, balanced acidity and a long, lingering finish that keeps you coming back for “just one more sip.”
Natural wine with precision — wild at heart, but beautifully composed. Proof that minimal intervention can still deliver maximum personality.
