Evriviadis Sclavos continues to reinterpret the winemaking heritage of Kefalonia, crafting expressive wines through minimal intervention and biodynamic farming. His vineyards are vibrant, living ecosystems, and each wine is a faithful reflection of place, variety, and tradition.
Thiniatiko enriches the winery’s outstanding red portfolio while reviving a historic Kefalonian field blend. Composed predominantly of Mavrodaphne (around 80%), it is complemented by the rare and nearly forgotten local varieties Araklino and Korfiatiko. All are co-planted in a single, complex vineyard owned by George Zissimatos, located at the deepest point of Argostoli Bay in Thinaia.
The result is a wine of remarkable balance, where delicacy meets depth. Energetic and tightly woven on the palate, Thiniatiko delivers finesse, elegance, and quiet power.
